ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Hope Codlin & Associates was founded by Mrs. Charmane Hope Codlin, who is a registered Real Estate Dealer with the Real Estate Board of Jamaica. The company sells, leases, rents, does appraises, and manages properties in the residential resort, commercial and agricultural sectors all over Jamaica. Our company is fully computerized with all our listings information on computer, and on the Internet. We maintain an active prospect list at all times, hence when we have a new listing the property is immediately matched to the prospect's inquiry. We hold membership in the Realtor' s Association of Jamaica an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors of the United States of America and also membership with the Jamaica Realtors multiple listing services.
Mrs. Codlin is a past Council Member of the Realtors Association and served as President for five years. She is also a past board member of the Government Real Estate Board.
SALES DEPARTMENT
We have a dynamic team of nine (9) licenced sales representatives, located throughout the island. Each of our sales representatives carry with them a wealth of experience and training.
SALES MANAGER FOR KINGSTON, ST ANDREW AND ST CATHERINE AGENTS. Mr. Johnson has over seven (7) years experience as a real estate sales person.
VALUATIONS DEPARTMENT
The function of the Valuations Department is to prepare Real Estate appraisals for companies and private individuals. This is the practice of developing an opinion of the value of real property, usually its Market Value. The need for appraisals arises from the assorted nature of property as an investment class, that is, no two properties are identical, and all properties differ from each other in their location, which is the most important determinant of value. We conduct valuations for the following institutions; Churches Co-operative Credit Union, AAMM Credit Union, National Housing Trust (NHT), and other notable credit unions. We expect inclusion to other panels in the near future.
Mr. Magne Evering, a Licenced Real Estate Dealer, is head of our Valuations Department. He is a qualified Valuer and Auctioneer and has over nine (9) years experience in the field of Land Economy and Valuation surveying. He is also licensed and experienced in Property Management.
